I don't know about you, but here at Glitties we are done with this whole "winter" thing. We're excited to run with our new 2014 Spring Glitter collection, and we aren't looking back!

The new spring glitter collection was inspired by Pantone's Spring 2014 Fashion Guide. These glitters are each .008" fine glitter powders perfect for nail art, glitter crafts, anything you need them for. Each of these glitter colors capture a different mood and feeling for spring! Which one best describes your style for this spring?!

Blazing Blue Glitter

Blazing Blue is a shimmery iridescent fine glitter that will pick up the green, yellow, and pink undertones in your outfit. This pastel is the perfect subtle compliment to any spring look or project!

Brilliant Lilac

Brilliant Lilac is a gorgeous purple glitter with ashy metallic undertones. This glitter goes perfectly with nail stud embellishments, your studded handbag, and that sassy attitude! 

Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze will remind you of that perfect trip to the beach you're going to have this summer. This shimmery iridescent green glitter is going to complement the warm undertones in your skin, flowery spring dress, or Easter craft project! 

 

Slate

Slate is a fiercely metallic glitter that you're going to love. As a neutral it goes with any and all other colors in your wardrobe. Use Slate with gel polish for a long lasting and fabulous manicure.

Sahara

Sahara might just be our favorite glitter of this collection! Sahara is an incredible metallic - it isn't just gold, it's this brilliant mix of yellow, platinum, tan, and almost a little bit of rose gold that just POPS! You're going to love it! 

Unmellow Yellow

Unmellow Yellow lives up to it's name. It has this electric quality to it, but it's still a pretty pastel glitter. The iridescent shimmer makes this a gorgeous accent in any set of nail art or craft project! 

Cayenne

Cayenne also lives up to it's name; it's a spicy iridescent mix of orange, red, and yellow glitters. It's feisty, but it's also subtle and adds an extra 'umph' where it's needed.

Orange Fizz

Orange Fizz will definitely quench your thirst for bright, summery, eye-catching glitter (just don't try to drink it). As another one of our beautiful iridescent glitter powders it will complement the other warm colors around you. 

Sweet Lavender

Sweet Lavender might just be the perfect metallic lavender color in existence. It's silvery undertones make this light purple glitter pop and come to life. Even though it is indeed sweet, it will steal the spotlight! 

Cobalt Blue

However, the greatest part of the story is that their legacy lies not only with their choices in fashion and beauty but also in their humanitarian contributions to society.


Today there are smart, gorgeous, and kind women in the public eye who we can look up to the way we did with these classic beauties. We want to recognize the stunning Lupita Nyong’o and her blossoming place among these great icons!

This newcomer to Hollywood has wowed everyone not only with her acting chops, but her fashion presence as well. We love that she can dress trendy and feminine without masking her natural beauty. Even beyond fashion and fame, she is beautiful inside and out!

From her inspiring Academy Award acceptance speech to her speech centered around beauty at the Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, she has inspired women of all colors to accept and love themselves.

It’s no wonder that Hollywood, and the rest of the world, has fallen in love with Nyong’o! It’s so rare that we have influential people in the spotlight represent something genuinely good and inspiring. In a culture of fashion models and the “ideal” body shape, girls of all ages need a woman to look up to who can inspire them to seek their own sense of self worth.

From stunning clothes and makeup to a stunning presence of self confidence and love, Lupita Nyong’o is our fashion icon this week! Women can learn from her style as well as her spirit. It’s no surprise that women all over the world are grateful for the already iconic Kenyan.
